Child Protection Day in Ukraine

Date: June 1st annually

History: Child Protection Day originated from the World Conference for the Well-being of Children in Geneva, Switzerland, in 1925. Following this event, many countries adopted a day to highlight the needs and rights of children. The day was officially established in Ukraine after it gained independence in 1991.
