Valentine's Day in Belarus

Valentine's Day, while not a traditional holiday in Belarus, has been increasingly celebrated since the early 1990s after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The day is known as Дзень Святога Валянціна in Belarusian.

Despite its popularity among the younger generation and those who embrace Western customs, some conservative segments of the population may not partake in Valentine's Day celebrations due to its foreign origins or personal preferences.
